“He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me, For they were too strong for me.” – ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭18:17‬

Sometimes deliverance come in an instant. Other times, you need to pray longer and more fervently to uproot the deep-seated works of the enemy. This is because Satan organizes his demons in ranks. Some demons are stronger than others. Ordinary prayers cannot cast them out. You need deliverance prayers that target the source of the problem to be able to break their ranks. But no matter how long it takes and the type of demons involved, one thing is sure: God can deliver you from whatever problem you are facing today. 

Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. – ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭59:1‬ ‭

Satan and his agents are fighting fiercely to keep us from enjoying total freedom. They attack our minds, corrupt our family roots and come after our lives. They are angry that God has chosen us in Christ Jesus. We are God’s object of love, so Satan is jealous and wants to stop the blessings of God from reaching us. 

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him. – ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭3:1‬

Satan has been doing all he can to separate us from God, lead us astray and put us in deep bondage. We must not allow his reign to continue. We were created in God’s image and likeness. Through Jesus Christ, we have authority and power to cast out devils and restore our lives to how God wants them to be. Like the Lord Himself rebuked Satan out of the life of Joshua the high priest, we also must rise, rebuke Satan and claim our complete deliverance. 

And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire? – Zechariah 3:2

Reasons for Delayed Deliverance 

Sin is one of the reasons Satan has a right to accuse and attack  deliverance. If your past is the source of the problem and you go on binding Satan, nothing will work. You must identify the source and direct your prayers at them. 

When you are able to get these obstacles out of the way, you’re ready to begin the deliverance prayer. 

Personal Deliverance Prayers 

1. Father, in the name of Jesus, I come to you today. I am sorry for all my sins. I repent of them all, and ask you to forgive me. Take away the guilt in my heart, and give me grace to go and sin no more. 

2. Lord, I repent of all the habits I formed over the years. I repent of sexual perversions, incest, adultery, fornication and any evil practices I allowed to go on in my life. Show me mercy and grant me your salvation, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

3. Father, rebuke Satan and all his agents. Silence them all in darkness. Make their accusations against me cease, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

4. I plead the blood of Jesus over my life. Let the blood wash my sins away forever, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

5. Father, anoint me with the power of the Holy Spirit to take complete authority over all the works of Satan, demonic activities and the power of evil spirits, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

6. I command the spirits of jealousy, competition, anger, confusion, sexual uncleanness, drunkenness and pornography to come out and leave me alone forever, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

7. I dedicate my body to God, and I ask Him to make my body a true temple of the Holy Spirit. 

8. I break all the negative self talk I spoke into my life. I cancel their short and long term effects over my life, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

9. I break all the curses good and bad people placed on me. I neutralize their power and destroy their strong hold on me, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

10. I destroy the effects of any evil material I read, demonic games I played, witchcraft movies I watched and Satanic agent I consulted, in the name of Jesus Christ.

11. I break the chain holding me back from making progress in my life. I declare myself free to prosper and grow financially, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

12. I break the chains of any demonic covenant in my family and marriage. I remove all the signs and presence of this covenant, and I declare freedom on my family and marriage, in the name of Jesus Christ.

13. I terminate every demonic assignment over my life and family, in the name of Jesus Christ. I say “No” to all the ongoing and proposed projects of the devil in my life and family, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

14. I bind and cast out all demonic presence, invisible equipment and witchcraft control over my life, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

15. Father, hide me from the enemies that seek to interfere with my life. Let all their plans fail, and let your plans for me stand, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

16. Father, give me power over bad habits and the behaviors that seek to put me in bondage, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

17. Heavenly Father, give me your Holy Spirit to guide me in all I do. Help me to begin to make good choices, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

18. O God, turn my life from negative to positive, from darkness to light, from weakness to strength, from nothing to something, and from a nobody to somebody, in the name of Jesus Christ.

19. Father, plant me in the land of promise and do not allow me to be moved from the place of my blessings, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

20. By faith, I receive my breakthrough right here and now. I can see it with the eyes of faith. They are mine, in the name of Jesus Christ. 

21. Father, I thank you for delivering me from bondage and the strongholds of the enemy of my body, soul and spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you, lord, for answered prayers. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
